In today, all of the Taylor's students are wearing school uniform it means most of the student wear their degree or master major T- shirts or hood T shirt except the IEN students. So we made our T shirt for few days and design the T shirt. Because of the IEN student also one of the Taylor's University student. Last few weeks ago, we tried question investigation to IEN student about school uniform for IEN student. Most of student wants to get their own T-shirt. This report is for what are we researching for T shirt about design cost color and illustration.
Cost
Student are studying their degree or master IEN English also. So they don't have enough money. We must find equal cost between student and Taylor's university. We had asked many kinds of other students about how much it will be nice for all of us. 90% of student say that the price is cheap but we have to think about equal price for all of us. RM 20 is the best price for all because it is not too expensive and cheap.
Design
For the IEN T-shirt, we had choose the best and the most common type, Polo-T. We choose this pattern because most properly student like to wear this kind of shirt and this Polo-T is fashion and will not outdate in nowadays. Most properly we will choose some common colour that mostly like by student such as Dark Blue, White and some other colour. By following the vogue, we have choose the short sleeves and make it tide some at the end of sleeves on man Polo-T to make the man look like more muscular when wear on it. On the man T-shirt, we also design it into body fit so the male student will look more huge and smart when wearing Polo-T. Besides, we also make woman Polo-T with more short sleeves and V shape (smaller) on the waist part of the shirt to make the woman more beautiful and slim when wearing on it.
illustration
For the IEN Polo-T, we decided to put a big Taylor's illustration on the front part of the T-shirt and we also put big text which is 'Center of Language'. In addition, at the end of the sleeve part we put another big text in capital letters which is 'TAYLOR'S UNIVERSITY'. Move to back part, near or below neck part there is another 'Center of Language' text so that people can easily know that the student is belong to the IEN from behind. I think that illustration or either logo somehow plays an important role as it can not only prove that students are actually studying in Taylor's University but also can make students feel proud of belonging to IEN, Taylor's University when they put on the shirt.

Nowadays, all of the course in Taylor's Uni have its own uniform, T-shirt to let others know that their identity. Nevertheless, For Intensive English Course, there are no any shirt for this course. So, we find it unbalanced to this course and determined to design a shirt for the students or coaches who are able to teach this course.
Color:
First of all, we decide to choose grey and red color for this T-shirt, because the former looks modern and soft. A part from the latter, it looks gorgeous and warm. It is a Chinese belief that using red color in any think will make us lucky. Thus, some people may say that while these both color are combined in a shirt together, it looks as through dazzling for everyone. But, if we widely use these two color and it will not happen.
Cost:
The cost of this T-shirt probably will be published with RM15 approximately. It is because nowadays, regardless of the level, every student could not effort a high cost T-shirt. If the T-shirt were expensive, student would not choose to buy it as well. In addition, they would rather wear their own shirt from house or a more cheaper shirt to campus. In the nutshell, the price are tentative around RM15. We will give careful consideration to this cost question.
Design:
For the design of this T-shirt, we suppose that we are trying to use a different design compare to the old. Thus, this T-shirt is considered to have a logo of Taylor and a love shape with 'Love Language' in fringe. The 'Love' is fringed which is also written in many language such as Spanish. Malay, Chinese or Arabic etc. Moreover, we try to use 'Love Language' to convey students the purpose of the language. According to the research, a reality, there is no doubt that language plays a pivotal role in the world. For example, the International Language, English. In addition, if English had been ignored, different countries would have used their own language and it may cause the communication problem between countries. On the other hand, the love shape will be designed at the top left in front a shirt pocket. It is because we find it innovative by using a picture. For the logo of Taylor, it is considered to add in two side sleeves. This can be the evidence that all of the manufacturable rights are reserved by Taylor.
